  • Q: I am based outside of North America, am I still able to submit feedback?
    A: Absolutely! Anyone and everyone can and should contribute. We had a global attendance for the workshop, and video replays of the workshops are available until the Public Input period closes on January 5, 2023.
  • Q: How has the NFPA standard changed from previous versions within my field?
    A: ​​In the workshops, we reviewed the pertinent sections of NFPA 660 and the base standards beforehand to come up with a summary of the differences of major parts of the standards!
  • Q: The government documentation is hard to read and understand, I don't have time to read through all of it and contribute to the NFPA 660 Public Comment Process.
    A: We make this easy to do! We have created a "Public Input Training Module" which includes summaries of the development of NFPA 660, the process for determining how to best read through the standard, as well as instructions for how to use the platform to submit comments.
  • Q: How do I navigate the NFPA website to submit feedback?
    A: We provide step-by-step instructions for all steps of the feedback process, and have also reviewed this process in the sessions for you to follow along.
  • Q: I know what I want to say about NFPA 660, I just don't know how to put it into words in a way they will understand.
    A: We provide you with an Ideal Response Template and several examples of ideal responses to help you structure your feedback!
